The Renée O’Connor celebrity doll is the second version as the character  Gabrielle.  It is titled  12″ Collector Series Gabrielle Amazon Princess from the Xena Warrior Princess episode “The Quest”.  It was released by Toy Biz, Inc. in 1999.  Xena: Warrior Princess aired in syndication from September 4, 1995 until May 21, 2001

This second version doll is a separate mold with a shorter stature and a more Gabrielle like face to reflect the 5 foot 4 inch O’Conner and her relative size to 5 fool 10 inch Lucy Lawless. 

“The Quest” version of the Gabrielle doll comes wearing a brown faux suede skirt with slits in the back and adorned with faux leather, fur-like feathers and gold metallic braiding.  The racy bra top is a lighter brown faux suede adorned by metallic gold braiding and plastic rings.  Plastic arm bands, feather molded necklace, braided headband, and decorations finish the outfit.  Boots are black faux leather with brown laces. Underwear is brown faux fur like material with elastic waistband.  The clothing is all removable with Velcro closures.

The included accessories are an Amazon tribal mask and elaborate staff.   The doll bends at the knees with joints at the waist (twist), neck, hips, and shoulders.  The arms are straight and do not bend.
