The Emma Watson celebrity doll portrays her as Belle from the film Beauty and the Beast.  The doll was made by the Disney Store in 2017.  Watson is a British actress who became well known as a child in her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series.

The Watson collectors’ celebrity doll comes wrapped, taped, polybanded, stuffed, fastened with a tag gun, and sewn onto the packaging.   Even the paper stuffing under the gown is sewn to the skirt.

The face has freckles galore. 

Full skirted layered, gold glittered yellow gown, even grander than the one in the movie.  The top is a separate piece  from the skirt with its cloth tails tacked to the back of the skirt.  The skirt is multi layered with a glittery design of stars and vines on chiffon over a satin lining. 

A separate elastic waist-ed white floor length netting slip hold the skirt gives the skirt fullness.  Gold plastic high heels on the feet which come off.  Yellow camisole underwear is painted on the body.  A yellow yarn gold charm necklace and gold braiding around the hair bun finish the accessories.  A gold band is painted on the pinkie of the right hand.

The entire costume can be removed and put back on.  Some pieces are tacked together with thread for convenience, but they were designed to be separated for play. 

The doll is articulated at the wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck hips knees and ankles.  The wrists, ankles, knees, and elbows rotate completely around so some awkward poses can prevail.  The museum’s doll appears to be bow-legged but with the soft nature of the plastic legs perhaps they can be trained straight again. The knees are double jointed and so floppy the legs are useless for holding up the weight of the doll.

In 2016 Hasbro also made other versions of Emma Watson as Belle.

The museum has both the one in the yellow ball gown and the one in the blue village dress outfit from the opening scene.  The faces are more generically cute and looks less like Emma Watson. The Hasbro dolls is made more for playing than collection

Hot Toys makes a high-end version of Emma Watson as Belle in the ball gown. The resemblance to the actress is quite stunning. It’s currently for sale at SideShow.
