The Cyndi Lauper celebrity doll portrays her as herself in 1980’s style American singer-songwriter and actress. The doll was released by Mattel on January 28, 2010 as the third and last doll in the Ladies of the ‘80s Collection under the Pink Label Collection and was licensed from Cyndi Lauper.
Cyndi Lauper became know in the 1980’s with the release of the album She’s So Unusual. She was the first female singer to have four top-five singles released from one album. Lauper has released 11 albums and over 40 singles, and as of 2008 had sold more than 30 million records worldwide. Her platinum-certified “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” is probably her best known song followed by the ballad “Time After Time”.

This doll was designed as a collector’s doll because the arms and legs are fixed in the display box position. The only joints that move are the shoulders, hips and neck. The Cyndi Lauper doll is all about the jewelry. – a flower necklace, ankle cuff, silver chain bracelet on the right wrist, double silver chains on the left, and long dangle beaded earrings. The doll is wearing a long red dress, black fishnet stockings, and red high heels. Inside the display case there is a certificate of authenticity and a black and clear doll stand.
