Tim McGraw
The Tim McGraw celebrity doll was made by Mattel in 2011 and designed by Linda Kyaw. McGraw is a three time Grammy award winning country western singer and songwriter. He is also an actor.
The doll is part of a Barbie doll Pink Label collectors set with a celebrity doll of McGraw’s wife Faith Hill. The set was released in September 2011 to celebrate the popular country music couple’s 15th wedding anniversary. They were married on Oct. 6, 1996.
The following is a video of the performance the doll set design is based. At the 39th Annual Country Music Association Awards in Madison Square Garden, New York City on November 15, 2005, McGraw performed the duet of Like We Never Loved At All with his wife, Faith Hill. The song went on to win the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals.
The doll comes wearing a sewn in place black suit with a black striped tie and a sleeveless white shirt. The black plastic boots are snuggly fitted onto the feet, while the black plastic cowboy hat is easily removable and reveals the Tim McGraw styled doll hair and painted facial hair.
The body bends and rotates at shoulders, hips, and elbows, The knees bend, but the ankles and wrists are stiff. The neck only goes side to side. The accessories include a stand, black microphone, and Certificate of Authenticity. A silver wedding band is painted on the left hand.
