The John Goodman celebrity doll depicts him as Mack Blues from the 1998 musical comedy film Blues Brothers 2000, the sequel to the 1980s film The Blues Brothers. The doll was made by Toy Biz in 1997 as the Blues Brothers 2000 Series. A Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) doll is also part of the series.

The Blues Brothers are an American blues and soul revivalist band founded in 1978 by comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live.  After Belushi’s death in 1982 the band continued to play with Aykroyd and guest musicians.  The bank reformed with Goodman to make the 1998 sequel movie The Blues Brothers 2000 with Goodman as Mack Blues.

The John Goodman doll comes wearing a black suit with tiny black button, black tie, white button down shirt, black shoes, black sunglasses, and a black hat.  When you remove the black suit a removable flesh material covered foam fat suit is underneath.  White underwear is painted on the doll body.

The Celebrity Doll Museum also has the  the Jake (John Belushi) and Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) dolls from by The Nostalgic series.
