The Beverly Johnson celebrity doll depicts her as a model.  Matchbox Industries made the doll in 1989 as part of their  The Real Model Collection that includes Beverly Johnson, Cheryl Tiegs, and Christie Brinkley.   The series is described as “THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS IN THE WORLD!”.

In 1974 Johnson made modeling history as the first black model to appear on the cover of American Vogue .

Beverly Johnson gave 20% of her profits from the doll to the Make A Wish Foundation according to some of the doll boxes of this doll.
