Paul Stanley
The Paul Stanley celebrity doll portrays him as himself in full costume and makeup as “The Starchild” in the 2012 version of the group Kiss. The action figure was made in 2013 as part of the Series 4 – Monster concert collection by the Figure Toy Company under license from Live Action Nation. Figure Toy Company as of June 2019 is on Series 11 of their 12 inch Kiss action figures-all in full makeup and released for album/concert tours.
The 1977 and 1978 Mego 12 inch versions are the beloved original Kiss dolls that inspired the continued sale of these newer series of twelve inch dolls. Unfortunately the museum has not yet acquired these hard to find vintage dolls.
Ankle boots come off. Go on easily over nylon stockings under the leotard. The chain leatherette belt comes off with a velco closure. The leotard and the attached silver chest decor could come off if stretched.
The doll is articulated at the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists. The head only twists side to side, no tilt. Action figure has 16 points of articulation.
The doll comes with a 1/6 sized Monster concert t-shirt. The packaging is a plastic clamshell with a KISS zip tie closure.
