The Vanna White celebrity doll portrays her as herself and was made and sold by the Home Shopping Network on television in 1991 for about ten dollars. White is known as the letter turner/hostess on TV game show Wheel of Fortune which she has starred with Pat Sajak since 1982.
This doll is the first one of a “Limited Edition” HSC Vanna in her own fashion collection and features the Vanna White doll in a 6 in 1 pink lace, silver metal threaded, and netting outfit. Parts of the dress and sleeves can be removed to change the look. The doll’s hair is adorned with a pink ribbon and a a pink barrette tying the blond ponytail . Jewelry includes plastic pink beaded necklace with pink bangle bracelet and on the feet, removable pink high heel pumps.

You’re right, she was one of the very first celebrities to utilize the Home Shopping Network for merchandising when it came out on cable. There was no internet back then and people embraced shopping from home. I got my Vanna White doll using my introductory HSN $10 coupon for her doll, the only thing I ever bought from HSN.
