Jackie Gleason
The Jackie Gleason celebrity doll portrays him as his character Ralph Kramden from the television sitcom on the Jackie Gleason Show in The Honeymooners. The show was initially very popular but dropped off and made only 39 episodes. It was on the air from 1955 until 1956.
The doll was made in 1998 by Exclusive Premiere / Exclusive Toy Products in a Limited Edition Collector’s Series that included the dolls Ed Norton (Art Carney), Alice Kramden (Audrey Meadows) , and Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason).
The Jackie Gleason celebrity doll comes wearing Ralph’s fictional Gotham Bus Company blue bus drivers uniform. The navy bus drivers hat and black shoes with white socks are permanently part of the action figure type body. The doll is articulated at the knees, hips, elbows, and shoulders. The head moves back and forth but does not tilt.
