Faith Hill
The Faith Hill celebrity doll was made by Mattel in 2011 and designed by Linda Kyaw. Hill is a five time Grammy award winning country western singer and married to country singer Tim McGraw.
The doll is part of a Barbie doll Pink Label collectors set with a celebrity doll of Tim McGraw. The set was released in September 2011 to celebrate the popular country music couple’s 15th wedding anniversary. They were married on Oct. 6, 1996.
The doll comes wearing a black lace gown lined in a dark peach. The dress is a replica of one worn by Hill at the 39th Annual Country Music Association Awards at Madison Square Garden on November 15, 2005 in New York City where she performed the duet of Like We Never Loved At All with her husband. The song went on to win the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals.
While the dress has snaps, it can’t be removed with out breaking the glue bond of the front of the dress to the breast. The doll wears no stockings or underwear, just the black strapped high heel shoes.
The shoulders and hips rotate but the elbows, wrists, and ankles are fixed. The knees bend while the neck only goes side to side. The doll is adorned with long dangled plastic jewel earrings and a silver wedding band is painted on the left hand. The accessories include a stand, black microphone, and Certificate of Authenticity.
