Michael McKean
The Michael McKean celebrity vinyl doll depicts him in his best known television roll as Lenny Kosnowski from the #1 rated television sitcom Laverne & Shirley. In 1977 Mego manufactured dolls at the same time for the characters Laverne De Fazio (Penny Marshall), Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams), and Andrew “Squiggy†Squiggman (David Lander). The Lenny doll was sold in a set with the Squiggy doll.
Laverne & Shirley ran on ABC from 1976-1983 and the dolls characters were licensed from Paramount Pictures Corporation. McKean went on to play David St. Hubbins in the cult spoof documentary movie This Is Spinal Tap and eventually joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1994.
This doll is very plain in jeans, a pink jacket (no shirt), and black shoes with no socks. Hair is sculptured plastic and the arms and legs do not bend. There are no other accessories.
