This James  Dean  celebrity doll depicts him in his iconic role as the character Jim Stark in film Rebel Without a Cause. It was manufactured in 1998 by Exclusive Premiere as part of their Limited Edition Collector’s Series.  There have been many James Dean celebrity dolls over the years since his death.

Dean died in a head on collision driving  his Porsche 550 Spyder on  September 30, 1955 at the age of 24.

The James Dean celebrity doll or action figure is about 9 1/2 inches tall.  The outfit is faux black leather jacket that has a working zipper that doesn’t disconnect at the bottom.  The jacket would have to be pulled over the feet or head to remove.  The jeans are denim with one back pocket and a Velcro opening in the back.  Underneath the jacket is a short sleeved white cotton shirt that is designed to look like a t-shirt.  The black boots and cigarette are part of the doll body.

The knees and elbows bend.  The shoulders go up and down and twist around.  The hips are ball joints. The head only rotates back and forth, not up and down.
