The Marissa Bode celebrity doll portrays her at 22 years old in the role of Nessarose Thropp, Elphaba’s younger sister, in the 2024 Universal Studios musical film, Wicked (Part 1). Marissa Bode is an American actress who began acting as an 8 year old. At the age of 11 she was paralyzed in a car accident and uses a wheelchair for mobility. She is the first disabled actress to play the role of Nessarose in any production. Wicked is her feature film debut and she will also appear in the 2025 part two Wicked: For Good.

The Marissa Bode celebrity doll comes wearing a one piece dress replica of the Nessarose’s Ozdust costume. The dress is an ivory, long sleeve, puffy shouldered dress with a red trim hem and painted white and red decorative design features and embellishments. There is a Velcro opening at the back and it is removable.
Replicas of her late mother’s jewel shoes as soft plastic sliver heeled shoes and red trimmed ivory socks are on the feet. The doll comes seated in an elaborately decorated, three color plastic, working wheelchair.
The face is painted with brown eyes and natural red lips. The curly long dark brown hair is styled with the front pulled back and tied in the back with a brown polyband.
There are 11 points of articulation: Neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. The ankles are fixed and the feet are larger than a standard Barbie doll.
