The Patrick Dempsey celebrity doll portrays him at 41 years old as the character Robert Philip, the lawyer, from the 2007 Disney movie Enchanted.  The Disney Robert doll was made by Mattel in 2007. The museum also has the Enchanted Renaissance Ball Amy Adams as Giselle with Patrick Dempsey as Robert gift set dolls. 

Patrick Dempsey is an actor and racing car driver.  Dempsey is best known for his role as Dr. Derek Shepard (also “McDreamy”) from the long running ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy. In 2022 Disney released a sequel on Disney+ called Disenchanted, where Dempsey reprises his role as Robert Philip.  People magazine honored Dempsey as the “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2023.

The  street clothes lawyer Patrick Dempsey doll comes wearing a dark blue business suit.  The jacket is a unlined blue cotton suit coat with tiny blue buttons.  Underneath is the a one-piece rest of the suit which is an all-in-one white collared (no cuffs), medium blue tie, black belt, and matching dark blue pants.   There is a Velcro opening down the back to remove it.

The doll also includes a tan cotton trench coat. On his feet are black plastic tassel loafers. No socks.  Unfortunately the shoes are a too small for a standard Ken doll.

The dolls face is painted with dreamy, twinkly blue eyes and light natural pink lips in a slight closed mouth smile. The eye brows and sideburns are painted brown.  The rooted hair is slicked back with a heavy dose of product in a very Patrick Dempsey style.

The doll is articulated at the neck (just twists side to side), shoulders (stiff straight arms just swing forward and backwards), hips (swing forward and backwards only), and knees (soft rubber legs have 2-3 click joint bends at the knee). The torso, arms, wrists, and ankles are fixed.
