The Barbie version of the Elvis Presley celebrity doll comes with a Priscilla Presley doll as a wedding set.   The Pink Label Elvis® and Priscilla Barbie® doll and Elvis® Doll Giftset was made by Mattel in 2008 and depicts him at their wedding in 1967 at the age of 32 (they divorced in 1973). The museum also has the Priscilla Presley celebrity doll from the set.

Elvis was an American singer and actor. He was a 20th century cultural icon and was known as the “King of Rock and Roll”. He died on August 16, 1977 from a heart attack after years of drug abuse and failing health.

One of the greatest love stories of the 20th century, the romance between the King of Rock ‘n; Roll and his “princess” is legendary. Priscilla Beaulieu captured Elvis® Presley’s heart and he swept her off her feet!

On May 1, 1967, Las Vegas wedding bells rang for Elvis® and Priscilla. Dressed in a black tuxedo and western boots, the groom exchanged rings with his beautiful bride surrounded by flowers, family, and friends.

The dolls comes wearing a black tuxedo in two pieces. The black Jacquard fabric jacket is lined and has a black satin collar and sewn in white cotton shirt cuffs. On the lapel is a white cloth rose and the cuffs have tiny gold cloth string cuff-links.

Underneath the jacket is a single sleeveless piece that includes the collared lace decorated shirt, black bow tie, matching black Jacquard vest and pants.  On the feet are black cowboy boots that split open and a pair of black socks.

The doll head has black sculpted painted hair, blue eyes, and natural pink lips.  The right hand has a silver horseshoe ring and the left hand has a painted gold wedding band.

The doll is articulated at the neck (head turns but doesn’t tilt), shoulders, elbows, waist (turns), and knees. Ankles and wrists are fixed.
