The Hannah Waddingham celebrity doll portrays her as the character Rebecca Welton in the Apple+ television series Ted Lasso. The Gold Label Signature Barbie is one of three in the Ted Lasso series (Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones). The doll was released by Mattel on October 22, 2023 and was exclusive in the US to Mattel Creations and Amazon. It was designed by Suim Noh and retailed for $50.

Hannah Waddinham is an English actress, TV presenter, and singer. Her career has spanned musical theater in London, recurring television character roles, and supporting actress roles. Her biggest role is the Emmy and Critic’s Choice Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series winning  Rebecca on Ted Lasso (2020-2023).  In 2023 she hosted the Eurovision best song competition and had her own Christmas variety special on Apple+, Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, complete with an accompanying album.

The Hannah Waddingham doll comes wearing an outfit similar to what Rebecca wears in the Ted Lasso show, but the champagne blouse was usually worn with a tight black skirt rather than pants.

The blouse is a peach/champagne satin silk-like billowy sleeveless blouse with two plastic snaps to an opening in the back. It has a V-neck  with a long collar to waist tie in the front The blouse pulls down over hips to remove it.  It is tucked into well tailored black pants in a sturdy wrinkle free material. They open in the back with a metal snap.

The face is painted with bright blue eyes, dark pink lips, and pink blush.  The light blonde hair is pony-tail back into a double very Rebecca like bun. The side parted front of the hair is curled back and thread tied in place over the left ear.  The hair is stiff with product to keep it all in place.

The plastic gold dangle tear drop shaped earrings are not easily removed. They are hooked inside and require heating the head to pull them out without damaging the sculpt. Two gold plastic bangle bracelets come on the right arm, but unfortunately they do not stay on unless you keep them polyband-ed in place.

The shoes are black plastic pointed toe high heels.  The stiletto heels are very soft and bend/collapse easily.  The large  light grayish ivory purse is soft molded plastic and includes alligator skin details and opens.

The body is articulated at the neck, arms(double jointed), wrists, hips, and knees (45º).  The body and feet are fixed.  One hand is clutched to hold the purse and one is straight. Unfortunate the nails are not painted. The arms are muscular like Rebecca’s.

The doll comes with a stand and a Certificate of Authenticity.
