The Mariah Carey Barbie celebrity doll captures Carey at 50 years old in one of the gowns she wore in the 2020 Christmas Music special and video  Mariah Carey – All I Want for Christmas Is You (Make My Wish Come True Edition). The Mariah Carey Barbie doll was released on November 16, 2023 as a Signature Black Label doll and was designed by Angel Kent for a retail price of $75.

Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. She is well known for her 5-octave vocal range, popular music success, and is often referred to as the ‘Queen of Christmas’ for her popular Christmas music and specials.

The Mariah Carey Barbie wears a long sleeved, v-neck red replica gown from the Mariah Carey – All I Want for Christmas Is You (Make My Wish Come True Edition) music video. The red glittery lined dress has a thigh high slit up front of the right leg with a silver round brooch at the top around a matching hip band.

Also replicated is Mariah’s ring and earrings. On the right hand is a plastic silver butterfly is plugged into ring finger and plastic silver circle dangling earrings finish the look. The shoes are open toed heels with a ankle strap.  The hands are manicured with light pink paint but the toes are bare.

The face is painted with brown eyes with match brown and gold eye shadow and long black eyelashes.  The smiling lips are a natural peach color with open mouth painted white teeth.  A brown mole and peach pink rouge make her Mariah special.  The head mold is custom to the Mariah Barbie. The hair long wavy rooted blonde hair has both highlights and low-lights and hangs below the waist and is parted on the right side.

The body is a Mattel Model Muse body with articulation only at the shoulders, hips, and neck.  The dolls left arm is permanently at a right angle and the left leg is slightly bent forward. The toes are pointed.

The doll comes with a silver plastic hand held microphone, a stand, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
