The Prince Rodgers Nelson celebrity doll portrays him at 26 years old in Purple Rain outfit from the album, video, and movie of the same name.  The action figure doll was made by a collaboration of SooSootoys with Win.c Studio and released in October 2023 with a retail price around $200.  The album Purple Rain by Prince and the Revolution was released in 1984 by Warner Bros. Records as the sound track of the movie and won Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Soundtrack.

Prince was an American singer,  musician, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Prince was Minneapolis, Minnesota born to a jazz singer mother and musician and songwriter father on June 7, 1958.  57 years later he sadly died on April 21, 2016 from an accidental fentanyl overdose.  He is known as one of the best musicians of his generation.

The doll comes wearing a shiny purple over coat with a rhinestone circular belt buckled match belt.  Underneath is a white ruffled long sleeved shirt with snaps up the front and a high neck. The ruffled cuffs hand longer than the overcoat sleeves.

The black glittered waist-ed pants have silver rivets on the front and down the legs.  The pants open in the back for removal and the legs hang over a pair of black heeled ankle boots.

Included is a very detailed 1/6 replica of Prince’s iconic Cloud guitar from Purple Rain, complete with nylon strings. The original guitar was designed by Dave Rusan.  Along with it are 4 Prince symbol stamped red guitar picks that fit in extra right guitar playing hand.

Two extra sets of hands are also in the box along with the relaxed hands on the doll.  A set of fists and a set of guitar playing hands.

The crotch holding doll stand is a mini 2 step stage with 6 purple lens lights that can be attached to the stage in a number of places.  The lights do not have actual lights in them.

The doll has 30 points of articulation and the head sculpt can be removed.

The Prince action figure was available at mostly overseas action figure stores and a few in the US. The item sold out once released and may not be available.
