The Lindsay Lohan celebrity doll depicts her as a cartoon character of herself from the 2005 full length animated romantic comedy My Scene Goes Hollywood: The Movie, the third in the My Scene series released by Buena Vista Home Entertainment. The Lindsay Lohan doll made by Mattel in 2005.
Lohan is an American actress who got her first big breakthrough at 12 years old in the 1998 Disney remake film of the 1961 The Parent Trap. She became a teenage idol with her roles in the 2003 Freaky Friday and 2004 Mean Girls. After a break from acting which included some legal troubles and time in rehab, Lohan came back as a singer and continued her career making films, stage work, and documentaries. Most recently she has also been involved in fashion and jewelry design.

In the early 2000’s Mattel released the My Scene Girls dolls, with their larger heads, big eyes, a Barbie body, and removable oversized shoes, to compete with MGA Bratz dolls. The Lindsay Lohan version is considered a special, created as merchandise from My Scene Goes Hollywood: The Movie, where Lohan did the voice over of her character as the celebrity the My Scene Girls befriended while they worked as interns at an awards ceremony. They don’t go to Hollywood, they go Hollywood in New York City by meeting Lindsay Lohan.
The doll comes wearing an wheat beige patterned coat with a fur collar and hem line and a pink and burgundy lining. Underneath is a matching lace spaghetti strapped matching lace mini dress with a fitted bodice, a burgundy cloth flower brooch on the top left side, and a pink and burgundy animal print under dress. Two pairs of oversized shoes match the outfit: one burgundy and gold and one beige. Jewelry is plastic gold hoop earrings and a gold plastic medallion choker necklace with painted orange stones.
An extra outfit and fashion extras comes attached to the packaging. A pink glittery midi skirt with gold butterfly appliques, gold lace slip and a pink sequins belt can be worn with one of two blouse choices which include a Hollywood Scene white t-shirt and a strapless pink and yellow cotton top. A pink burgundy fur lined cape can be worn over either. Two purses coordinate with the outfits. One is a gold plastic beaded mold clutch that snaps open and a cloth purse made of the pink midi shirt material with a matching gold butterfly applique.
The face is painted with big blue eyes, pink eye shadow, brown freckles and purple lips with burgundy lip liner. The rooted red hair is multi-toned is parted on the side and hangs to the waist. A pair of translucent pink plastic sunglasses are sewn to the head like a headband.
