The Margot Robbie celebrity doll portrays her at 31 years old in the role of (Stereotypical) Barbie in the July 2023 Warner Bros. Pictures  comedy film Barbie The Movie, directed by Greta Gerwig.  The doll was released on June 1, 2003 by Mattel for the retail price of $50.00.  The ‘Barbie in Plaid Matching Set” Barbie  was designed by Robert Best and Linda Kyaw-Merschon. Margot Robbie is an Australian actress and producer.  She got her start in 2008 on the Australian television series Neighbours.  Her US breakthrough was in the 2013 Martin Scorsese film The Wolf of Wall Street.  Robbie is also well known for her role as Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe films,  as Tonya Harding in the 2017 film I, Tonya, and as Sharon Tate in 2019 Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”   She was also a producer on the Barbie The Movie.

The Margot Robbie Barbie comes wearing a replica of the outfit Robbie wore when she returns to Barbieland after her adventure in the RealWorld.  The outfit has a matching soft pink, blue, and yellow plaid jacket, blouse, skirt, and hat. 

The short cropped, collarless jacket is made of a waffled cotton-like material and opens in the front. Underneath is a sleeveless satin blouse with a collar and bow in the front.  It opens in the back with plastic snaps.

The matching short bubble skirt has a plastic snap in the back for easy removal. Underneath is a separate tulle slip with a plain white top to hold the skit out and finally a pair of plain white underwear.  On the head is a medium brimmed matching hat with a long coordinated pink, blue, and yellow striped ribbon around the brim and hanging in the back. On the feet are a pair of blue high-heel shoes.

The face is painted with bright blue eyes and medium pink open mouth lips.  The hands are manicured in the same medium pink paint. The ears are adorned with pearl-like drop plastic earrings.  The long, rooted blonde hair is parted on the left side with long flowing curls all the way around.

The body is an articulated Mattel Gigi body with articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist, hips, and knees.  The torso and high-heel ankles/feet are fixed.

Included in the box is an off-white base plastic stand with a clear pole along with an official Mattel Certificate of Authenticity.
