America Ferrera  doll depicts her at 38 years old in the role of Gloria, a Mattel employee, the July 2023 Warner Bros. Pictures  comedy film Barbie The Movie, directed by Greta Gerwig. America Ferrera is an American actress born in Los Angeles, California. Her film debut was in the 2002  Real Women Have Curves, where she won an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She also was known for her the first Latina Prime-time Emmy award winning performance in the 2006-2010 ABC television comedy Ugly Betty as the character Betty Suarez. She is married to the actor, writer, directer  Ryan Piers Williams, who plays her husband in the Barbie the Movie film. Ferrera is also a political activist for Latino voters and family and women’s rights.

The America Ferrera Gloria doll comes wearing an all pink pants suit. The lined suit jacket is made of a bright pink satin and decorated with three tiny black plastic buttons on the cuff and one on the front. Underneath is a waist hemmed sleeveless pink knit top with an opening in the back. 

The pants are musty-pink pin striped bell bottom with slits at the bottom sides. It has real pockets on the side seams and a snap opening in the back. The slits show off the above the plastic, multi-colored, above the ankle sandals in pink, gold, blue, and teal.

The face is painted with brown eyes with gold and mauve eye shadow, and an open mouth with natural pink lips. The brunette two tones rooted hair has two big ringlet curls in the front and is straight in the back.  Large gold loop removable earrings finish the look.  The hands have a light pink manicure.

The doll is a Mattel petite made-to-move body with articulation at the neck, upper arms (twist) elbows(bend all the way to face), wrists, upper torso (bends) hips, upper thighs (twist), knees and ankles.

The doll comes with a plastic pink stand base with a clear plastic post doll stand and an official Mattel Certificate of Authenticity.
