The Chris Evans celebrity doll portrays him at 33 years old as Steve Rogers / Captain America in Marvel’s 2019 movie Avengers: Endgame. The action figure was released by Hot Toys in 2019 as Captain America – Avengers: Endgame – Movie Masterpiece Series MMS536 and retailed for $274.
Evans is an American actor who headlined in the first of the Avenger series movies, Captain America: The First Avenger. in 2011.
The Chris Evans action figure comes with 2 heads, on unmasked and on masked one. The mask head also include a removable lower face with 3 alternative face expression pieces that attach with a magnet. The navy blue costume with red trim is a replica of his Endgame suit. The outfit is detailed and so complicated it comes with 2 pages of instructions for attaching and removing accessories and parts. The main rubbery, tight fitting costume can’t be removed without ruining it by design, but the belt can come off if you follow the instructions. The suit has a subtle battle worn touch paint effect.
The Chris Evan head sculpt has blond molded hair, blue eyes, and natural pink lips.
The doll comes with two plastic shields; one damaged with two broken off pieces and one full one. A shield holder on the back of the suit can be set up or using it the shield holding gloved hand. There are seven different interchangeable gloved hands, 3 left and 4 right. The extra right is the Avenger sign. The black and brown buckled high boots are ball jointed at the ankle.
Accessories include an Avenger: Endgame crotch grabbing stand, a closing compass with Peggy’s photo inside, a helmet for hand holding (not made to go on the head), the two shields, and a detailed black Mjölnir hammer.
The doll is articulated in 30 places but the costume and shields somewhat limit the movement.
