The Keanu Reeves celebrity doll depicts him at 49 years old in his role of John Wick in the 2014 movie John Wick.  The action figure was made by SWToys in 2021 and retailed for about $139.00 (FS043).

Keanu Reeves is a Canadian actor who got his first breakout role in the 1989 comedy film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.  In the early 1990s he established himself as an adult actor and action hero in My Own Private Idaho , Point Break, and Speed. Then came the Matrix in 1999 followed by some less commercially successful action movies.  In 2014 the John Wick movie series began and rejuvenated his career with sequels Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 following. John Wick: Chapter 4 was just released in March 2023.

March 23, 2023 – Hot Toys announced a new Chapter 4 1/6 scale John Wick action figure.

Many different versions of Keanu Reeves as John Wick have been released since 2014 in the 1/6 scale as head sculpts and full boxed dolls. The HotToys version based on Chapter 2 is the most critically acclaimed and comes with Wick in a 3 piece suit and a slew of realistic plastic accessories, like weapons, coins, Blood Oath Markers, and pencil. Unfortunately the museum hasn’t acquired one for the collection. Hot Toys just announced a Chapter 4 version John Wick 1/6 scale action figure.

Keanu Reeves action figures were also made of him as Ted Logan from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Neo from Matrix, and Johnny Silverhand from Cyperpunk 2077 (voice on video game).

Reeves also played the bass guitar and did back up vocals with the alternative rock band Dogstar. He was a founding member and left the band in the late 1990s to further pursue his acting career. Dogstar broke up in 2002, but reunited with Keanu Reeves on bass at BottleRock Napa Valley festival  in Napa, California. on May 27, 2023.

The Keanu Reeves celebrity doll comes wearing the John Wick casual outfit from the original movie.  It also includes a 1/6 scale version of the beagle puppy his deceased wife gave him as a gift in the movie.

The top is a collared, line, brown pleather coat complete with working metal zipper.  Underneath is a cotton gray t-shirt.

The pants are a pair of jeans with full pockets and details and a black, silver buckled pleather working belt around the waist.  The shoes are a brown swede with silver painted laces, black plastic soles, and are detachable ball joint connected to the body.  There are no bare feet.

With the action figure, comes two diecast metal pistols with removable cartridges and 3 additional sets of hands (4 total). 

The painted ceramic beagle puppy has a detachable head that is connected by a magnet and can be rotated right to left.  A removable leather collar and dog tag is around the neck. 

The head sculpt has molded black hair, molded painted facial hair, and glossy brown eyes.

The doll is well articulated in all the right places for a SWToys action figure.
