The Robbie Coltrane celebrity doll portrays him as the character Rubeus Hagrid from the Harry Potter films (2001–2011). The doll was made by Mattel in 2019 as part of their Harry Potter series of dolls.

Coltrane was a Scottish actor and comedian well known for British television and character parts in films like the James Bond movie. He gained worldwide fame for his friend of Hogwarts half-giant character Hagrid. Sadly, Robbie Coltrane died on October 14, 2022 at 72 years old.

The Robbie Coltrane celebrity doll comes wearing a brown and gold Hagrid movie costume. The top half of the costume is all one piece. The soft open collared long sleeve shirt, brown faux fur vest and plastic silver buckled brown (half) belt are all sewn together. The material is extremely soft and the shirt can be pulled over the doll’s head through the large neck opening.
The brown cotton-like twill pants have a very high above the belly elastic waist band and easily slide off. On the feet are chunky soft brown plastic ankle boots. The doll’s feet are about standard Ken sized so the shoes are thick and give the doll extra height (and would probably fit a Ken sized doll). The doll version of Hagrid is undersized for a supposed half-giant compared to the rest of the Harry Potter character series, but in scale as Robbie Coltrane.

The long curly flowing rooted hair is parted down the middle and hangs down to the middle of the back. The face is painted with brown eyes, bushy brown eyebrows, and dark pink lips/tongue. Attached to the face is a molded soft plastic full beard.

A 1/6 scale gold soft plastic dragon breaking out of its shell is included. No stand.

Articulation: Neck (Up and down about 15º in each direction, rotates 360º), shoulders(arms rotate 360º around, 90º forward to sideways,), elbows (90º up and down, turn 360º around), wrists (180º up and down, turn 360º), hips (does sideways splits, forward to back about 145º, turn 360º at 45º angle, knees (back 90º, turn 360º).
