The Gloria Estefan celebrity doll depicts Estefan as herself at 32 years old in the 1989 music video “Get on Your Feet”. The costume was inspired from the jacket and gold top in the video and the boots she wore in the 1990 Medley video.  The Gloria Estefan Barbie Signature Black Label doll was released by Mattel on September 1, 2022 at a retail price of $55.00. It was designed by Javier Meabe.

Estefan is a Cuba-American singer, actress, and business woman who is the best selling female Latin artist of all time and winner of seven Grammy Awards.

The Gloria Estefan celebrity doll comes wearing a cropped long-sleeved black velvet like jacket with gold embellishment lace trim and cuffs, green and red jewels and a long tulle black and gold right sleeve. Under the jacket is a gold bra and a yellow plastic necklace. There is also a plastic sleeves underneath to protect the black material dye from bleeding into the doll arms.

The bottom of the outfit is black below the knee stretch pants with a gold sequin and leopard soft belt. Above the knee soft leopard print hi-heel boots finish off the look. The complete costume is removable.

The face is painted with brown eyes, eye brows, and a small mole below the right eye. The lips are a dark rose pink and gold-ish plastic loop earring are inserted into large holes in the ears. The curly brunette hair is banded up in the front and falls to the middle of the back.

Accessories include a hand microphone, necklace, a Mattel Black Label Certificate of Authenticity, and a black base with clear pole doll stand.
