Sally Field
The Sally Field doll portrays her as a infantilized version of Sister Bertrille from the 1960’s television show The Flying Nun. The doll was made by Hasbro in 1967.
The doll comes wearing a starched, off-white linen habit complete with tunic and front and back panels and belt. The habit is held together with snaps. Underneath, the doll has on black cotton tights and black low-heal pumps. On the head is a white plastic cornet, which enables Sister Bertrille’s ability to fly and is removable. The cornet is held on with a sharp white plastic pearl topped stick pin.
The 12 inch doll came in an oversized blue Flying Nun box.
Given the doll was made in 1967, Sally Field as The Flying Nun dolls may not always be available for sale. Here are my two affiliate links (at no cost to the shopper, a tiny percentage of the net sale is paid to the museum), if you are interested in its value or to purchase one.
