The Melissa Joan Hart celebrity doll portrays her at about 20 years old as the character Sabrina Spellman from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, a television show which ran from 1996-2003 on ABC then the WB and was based on the Archie comics.  The doll was made by Kenner/Hasbro in 1997. In the series was another Sabrina doll in a magic bed and a Harvey Kinkle (Nate Richert – also in the museum and he winks). Pacific Playthings also made a Sabrina the Teenage Witch double doll set with Sabrina and Harvey in 1999 (not in the museum).

Melissa Joan Hart is an American actress who appeared in a number of television sitcoms and movies.

The doll comes wearing a sparkly netted short off white dress with shiny skin/pink toned tights with ruffles around the pink boots.  A three bead silver choker is around her neck and her right hand has a pink rhinestone ring molded into the ring finger and a snake bracelet. 

A wheel in the middle of the back of the doll rotates the right hand for Sabrina magic tricks (something to do with a magnet).  Accessories include a plastic black cat with glowing eyes (Salem), a black top hat and gray rabbit magic trick, a plastic book of spells, and a poster.
