The Rosario Dawson Valerie doll comes wearing lined black bell bottom jeans with red stitching and a gold chain belt with a gold Pussycat charm attached. The pants are removable with Velcro in the back and have a sewn on snap to attached the pink faux fur tail. On top the doll wears a multicolored band top under a cropped lined shimmering blue purple jacket with a white faux fur collar that snaps shut in the front. Around the next is a purple satin ribbon choker with a pink flower attached. The shoes are clear soft jelly plastic platform hi-heeled slip on sandals with hot pick straps. Underneath the pants the doll body has molded white hard plastic panties.
The doll is made with an unusually soft squishy rubbery plastic body, even the stomach torso area and buttocks are pliable. The soft rubber appendages include click joint elbows, knees and hips (move only forward and backwards). Head moves side to side and tilts but doesn’t lock into place. The shoulders are ball joints that move in every direction. The soft waist and torso bend and twist but don’t lock in to any position. The finger nails and toes have a painted purple manicure.
The face is painted with brown eyes and dark pink closed lips and a mole is painted between the top lip and nose on the doll’s left side. Light purple dot post earrings are in the ear lobes. The head is covered with black long curly rooted hair is tied back with a polyband and the black velvet rhinestone decorated pussycat headband with pink, red, and black animal pattern faux fur ears holds it all back. Matching bendable faux fur snap on tail completes the Pussycat look.
Comes with white plastic bass guitar with 3 dimensional detailed silver and black strings, fret board, knobs, and tuning pegs. Gold elastic guitar strap that is really too short and can easily be substituted with a longer piece of elastic of your choice. A red and black hand microphone complete with switch detail attaches to a silver, gold, and black microphone stand are also included in what the box calls “ROCKIN’ EXTRA Instrument included”.
All three Josie and the Pussycats dolls are in the museums collection.
