The Gal Gadot celebrity doll depicts her at 35 years old in the role of Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) from the DC Comics’ 2020 Wonder Woman 84 movie. The Gold Label Wonder Woman Barbie doll was released by Mattel on July 6, 2020 as part of a WW84 gift set with actor Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. WW84™
W O N D E R W O M A N DCWonder Woman 1984™ Barbie® dolls shine the spotlight on the timeless romance of Diana Prince™ and Steve Trevo™. Diana has been living quietly among the mortals in Washington, DC, and performing superheroic acts incognito.A chance encounter at the Lincoln Memorial reconnects her with Steve Trevor™ after decades pf being apart. The world however, is in grave danger.
As Wonder Woman faces her fiercest nemesis, she must save mankind from a world of its own making, and prove to everyone, she is a hero for our time, for all time, for everyone.
The Gal Gadot Barbie comes wearing a replica of the long white satin gown Diana wore in the gala movie scenes when she reunites with Steve Trevor. The collared gown opens down the front with a Velcro closure at the waist and is tied with a long matching white satin wrap around tie which enables the skirt to split open almost up to the waist. There are no underwear or stockings underneath.
Underneath are plastic pink closed, pointed toe, high-heel shoes. The shoes are so solid the doll is capable of being delicately balanced to stand on it’s own, barring any major movements. The doll’s knees come with cardboard braces for packaging stability.
The doll’s face has painted brown eyes and dark red slightly opened lips. The long brown rooted hair is carefully styled into large curls pushed back to the doll’s right side. A left side section is tied back with brown thread to keep it in place.
The accessories include a gold bangle bracelet and a gold cord necklace.
The doll is articulated at the neck(head turns and tilts about 45 degrees up and down and side to side), shoulders (twist and move 90 degrees), elbows (twist and bend 110 degrees), wrists(twist and bend 160 degrees), hips (slight sideways twist and leg turns all the way around and does splits sides and front to back), knees (bend back 150 degrees). Ankes and torso are fixed and the doll has standard high heel Barbie feet.
The doll gift set comes with two black and clear plastic doll stands that clip around the waist to the dolls and a Mattel Gift Set Certificate of Authenticity.
