WW84™
W O N D E R W O M A N DCWonder Woman 1984™ Barbie® dolls shine the spotlight on the timeless romance of Diana Prince™ and Steve Trevor™. Diana has been living quietly among the mortals in Washington, DC, and performing superheroic acts incognito.A chance encounter at the Lincoln Memorial reconnects her with Steve Trevor™ after decades of being apart. The world however, is in grave danger.
As Wonder Woman faces her fiercest nemesis, she must save mankind from a world of its own making, and prove to everyone, she is a hero for our time, for all time, for everyone.
The Chris Pine doll comes wearing a replica of an outfit Trevor wore in the come back to life scenes at the party and walking around Washington DC with Diana the next day. He wears black pants, white t-shirt, black nylon bomber jacket, white sneakers with a red and blue design, and a gray front fanny pack. The t-shirt and black twill pants have Velcro openings in the back for easy removal. The soft plastic sneakers have slits in the back but are quite tight (a hair dryer warm up might help). The black bomber jacket has a real black zipper opening down the front and is decorated with black pocket trim and stretch cotton cuffs and waist band. The jacket left cuff is glued to the doll’s wrist along with the watch. The glue is easily removed and appears to be put on with double stick tape. No underwear or socks are included.
The doll’s rooted hair is multi-toned, dirty blond and combed back off the forehead and stiff with product. The eyes are painted blue with light brown eyebrows. The lips are a natural pink. The face resemblance to Chris Pine is disappointing given Mattel claims it was specifically sculpted to his likeness; the eyes seem too large.
The Chris Pine doll accessories include a plastic silver bangle style digital watch on the left wrist and a pair of red and silver plastic aviator sun glasses in the left hand. The right knee has a cardboard brace on it under the pants for packaging stability.
The doll is articulated at the neck(head turns and tilts about 30 degrees up and down and side to side), shoulders (twist and move 90 degrees), elbows (twist and bend 85 degrees), wrists(twist and bend back 80 degrees), hips (twist around and does splits sides and front to back), knees (twist and move 90 degrees), and ankles(twists and toes point).
The doll gift set comes with two black and clear plastic doll stands that clip around the waist to the dolls and a Mattel Gift Set Certificate of Authenticity.
